What is Rock Steady Boxing?

Rock Steady Boxing focuses on improving the quality of life for people battling Parkinson's disease through non-contact boxing inspired fitness training.

What We Offer?

Fitness: Classes accommodate varying degrees of people with Parkinson's and their fitness levels.


Support: Coaches, caregivers, and other boxers understand Parkinson's and how to fight back.


Camaraderie: A community of fighters and caregivers. 

Classes:

Training classes include an exercise program that attacks Parkinson's at its vulnerable neurological points, while focusing on overall fitness, strength training, reaction time, and balance.


No boxing experience is necessary and people of all ages are invited to participate. 

Class Schedule:

Classes are Monday and Wednesday. The seated group is from 1:00-2:00pm and the stand-up group is from 2:15-3:15pm. There is also a class at 10am every other Saturday at 10am for all levels. 

Reminders:

1. Bringing a helper/corner to class may be a necessity depending upon level or ability. There is no additional tuition fee for a corner. 


2. Please bring clean shoes to change into before class to help keep mats clean. Barefoot or socks are encouraged for all participants. 


3. Loose or workout clothes can make the movements easier. Boxer's are encouraged to wear what is comfortable. 


4. No equipment is needed to start. Eventually boxer's do get there own pair of gloves. 

Tuition:

Class tuition is paid per month. The cost is $75 each month and discounts and assistance are available for those who qualify.
