The class is led with an emphasis on proper form/technique. You will learn how to throw real effective punches and kicks. This is not a cardio kickboxing class, even though you will get a great cardio workout. In a normal class we warm-up, workout with strikes or kicks, use training mitts, flow, balance, and core drills to hone our strikes and fitness level, then stretch out to finish. Learning self defense is also a large part of class. Each week a different attack or situation is introduced for practice. Class is for everyone no matter your current fitness or ability levels.
The Kickboxing class is Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7:00-8pm. This class is for teenagers and adults only.
Students join this class for a variety of reasons. Some people want to get in shape or lose weight doing something fun that does not feel like working out. Others want to learn how to box or defend themselves. Whatever the reason try a week of classes for free to see if it is a good fit.

This class has no uniforms or belts. Wear normal workout clothes. Whatever you are comfortable in. Shorts, pants, T-shirt, tank-top, etc...
